Verona Fortified City Documentation Center – Unesco World Heritage

Open to the public from the 6th of June 2018

Following careful restoration works, the Verona Fortified City Documentation Center – Unesco World Heritage Site is now open to the public and can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9am to 6.30pm.

The Documentation Center represents the first structured space born to spread the knowledge of the heritage made up by the veronese military architecture, thanks to which UNESCO entered Verona in the World Heritage List.

The Center avails itself of a Scientific Committee that annually schedules the activities, with the aim of collecting documents, publications, maps and other materials, promoting research activities, conferences and cultural initiatives for the enhancement of the monumental historical heritage of Veronese military architecture.
